Basketball Player
Guard for the Maryland Terrapins men's basketball program who was a three-star recruit out of high school by both Scout and Rivals. In his freshman year as a bench player, he helped lead the team to the Sweet Sixteen.
He helped lead the Boston Amateur Basketball Club to two AAU national championships. He played soccer in high school and lettered one year as a tennis player.
He and teammate Jared Nickens became viral sensations as the creators of the #RunningManChallenge. The video that went viral saw the teammates dancing to Ghost Town DJs' song "My Boo."
His mother Angela Cayode named him Jaylen after Jalen Rose because of her love for the Michigan Wolverines "Fab Five."
He backed up Melo Trimble as a member of the Maryland Terrapins.
