Australian drummer, singer-songwriter, and psychedelic rock musician known for his solo project Gum.
When Kevin Parker took his home recording project, Tame Impala, on tour, he brought on Watson to play guitar, synthesizer, and sing.
He released his debut album under the Gum moniker in 2013, called Delorean Highway.
He was born in Fremantle, Perth, Western Australia. He has shared photos of his parents on Instagram.
In addition to working with Kevin Parker in Tame Impala, both have been members of the psychedelic rock band Pond.
