Jay Beckenstein
Saxophonist
Co-founder of jazz fusion band Spyro Gyra and owner of BearTracks Studios. He also collaborated with groups like Dream Theater.
He received his first saxophone at the age of seven and went on to attend the University of Buffalo for music.
He has played saxophone on Dream Theater's song "Another Day."
His parents raised him on jazz music on Long Island.
One of Beckenstein's earliest influences was Lester Young.
