Canadian politician who has served as Canada's Minister of Employment and Social Development and Minister of Multiculturalism. He was first elected as a candidate of the Reform Party of Canada.
He worked for the Saskatchewan Liberal Party as an executive assistant to Ralph Goodale in 1988.
He was named as one of Canada's 100 Leaders of the Future by Maclean's magazine.
He was raised with family in Saskatchewan and his grandfather is jazz musician Mart Kenney.
He has been a member of Parliament's Canada-Tibet Committee and hosted the Dalai Lama.
