Better known by his stage name of D.J. Minutemix, this hip hop artist is most their as a founder of a popular 1990s music group called P.M. Dawn. His band's first two albums, Of the Heart, of the Soul and of the Cross: The Utopian Experience and The Bliss Album?, became United States certified Gold recordings.
He released his first single with P.M. Dawn, "Ode to a Forgetful Mind," in 1988.
His 1991 song "Set Adrift on Memory Bliss" topped music charts in the United States, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Germany, among other countries.
He and his brother and musical collaborator, Attrell Cordes, were born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey.
He and fellow hip hop artist Hussein Fatal were both born in New Jersey.
