Finish ski jumper who won silver team large hill medals at the 2002 and 2006 Winter Olympics.
He placed in his first ever Four Hills Tournament with a third place finish at Garmisch-Partenkirchen in 1995.
He also won 6 World Championship gold medals, including the 2006 Individual large hill medal.
He has two children, Mico and Milo, with his wife Tiia Ahonen.
He has earned multiple Olympic medals for Finland, which is also the case for hockey star Niklas Hagman .
