US Attorney General from 1993 to 2001 under President Bill Clinton who oversaw the capture and conviction of both Theodore Kaczynski and Timothy McVeigh. She is also well known for the popular impression that Will Ferrell did of her on Saturday Night Live.
She received her law degree from Harvard Law School, after obtaining her undergraduate degree from Cornell University.
She was the first woman to serve as Attorney General and the second longest serving Attorney General.
Both of her parents were investigative reporters for the Miami Herald.
As Attorney General she was involved in the capture and conviction of Timothy McVeigh, the Oklahoma City Bomber.
