Her real name is Joyce Penelope Wilhelmina Frankenberg, and she took King Henry VIII's third wife's name as her stagename.
She was made a member of the Order of the British Empire in 2000.
She has been married and divorced four times. She welcomed two children with her third husband David Flynn and later welcomed two more children with her fourth husband James Keach.
She co-starred with Roger Moore in the 1973 James Bond film Live and Let Die.
