Cast member on the TV Land show Hot in Cleveland, which premiered in 2010. She was nominated for Emmy and Golden Globe Awards for her portrayal of Daphne Moon on the hit NBC sitcom Frasier from 1993 to 2004.
She was a ballet dancer at the Bush Davies School of Dance but could not pursue a career in ballet after seriously injuring her ankle.
She was a dancer in the their 'Christmas in Heaven' scene from Monty Python's The Meaning of Life. She then was a regular on The Benny Hill Show as one of 'Hill's Angels'.
She married Marshall Coben, a CBS Paramount Television executive, in 1996 and the couple has one daughter and one son. Her Fraiser co-stars are godparents to her children.
She starred alongside Kelsey Grammer on Frasier.
