Singer-songwriter and guitarist best known as the frontman of Jamie Davis & Soul Gravy. The band is best known for their 2006 track, "Mississippi Moonshine." Their second album, The Blue Album, followed in 2010.
While studying business at Mississippi State University, he co-founded Jamie Davis & Soul Gravy with former Wavorly band member Dan Isbell.
His music mixes elements of the Southern rock, blues, country, soul, folk, and pop genres.
He and his five younger siblings grew up in Booneville, Mississippi. Following their late 2013 wedding, he and his wife welcomed their first child.
He collaborated with Arizona-born country singer Dierks Bentley.
