He's lived in Cardiff, Wales and would first begin dating Carys in 2014. She became widely known for her fitness vlogging.

He has an older brother. He and Carys became engaged on their four-year anniversary in June 2018. They tied the knot in June of 2019. They welcomed a daughter, Amber, in April 2021.
