James Munky Shaffer

Guitarist and co-founder of the nü metal band Korn; he also founded Emotional Syphon Recordings.
He lost part of his finger on the chain of his three wheeler and started playing guitar to rehabilitate his hand.
His nickname is Munky because his feet look like a monkey's hands when spread.
He was married to Stephanie Rouch from 2000 to 2004. He married Evis X. Shaffer on January 2, 2012; they have sons, D'Angelo and Rocky. They had their third son in the summer of 2019.
Eddie Van Halen inspired him to pursue music.
