DJ known as JPatt who became known as one half of the electronic music duo The Knocks with Ben Ruttner. They are popular for their remixes of hit artists such as Jay Z, Katy Perry, and Passion Pit. Their album 55 featured the likes of Fetty Wap, Wyclef Jean, Carly Rae Jepsen, and X Ambassadors.
He used to play the organ at his local church. He and Ben Ruttner formed The Knocks during college at the age of 19.
He and Ben were named one of the "20 Hottest Producers in Music" by NME.
He and Ben are originally from New York.
He and Ben opened for Ellie Goulding on her US debut tour in 2011.
