James Greene

Notable for his recurring roles and guest appearances on numerous British television series, he is perhaps most well known for his work on The Moon Stallion, Mapp & Lucia, William and Mary and Big School.
Early in his career, he guest starred in episodes of Tales from the Lazy Acre, Colditz, and A Little Bit of Wisdom.
During the late 1950s and early 1960s, he worked for Ulster Television as a continuity announcer. He played supporting roles in several films, including Sherlock Holmes (2009) and Albert Nobbs (2011).
He spent his youth in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
He and Julia Davis were both in the cast of the short-lived comedy series Hunderby.
