Safety was selected 6th overall in the 2017 NFL Draft by the New York Jets. After three years with the Jets, he was traded to the Seattle Seahawks prior to the 2020 NFL season.
He was a 5-star recruit by Scout.com and a top 10 overall recruit for his class coming out of Hebron High School.
In 2016, during his final season at LSU, he was named a Second-team All-American and First-team All-SEC.
His father George Adams was a running back in the NFL from 1985 to 1991.
He followed in the footsteps of Tyrann Mathieu and Patrick Peterson as another LSU defensive back drafted to the NFL.
