Striker who appeared in many games for Lleida Esportiu, Girona and Valladolid between 2012 and 2018 before joining Getafe CF in 2018.
He finished his youth career with Galáctico Pegaso in 2007. He made his senior debut with Pegaso B that year.
While with Rayo Vallecano B from 2010 to 2012, he was subsequently loaned out to Socuéllamos in 2010 and Móstoles in 2010-2011.
He was born Jaime Mata Arnaiz in Madrid, Spain.
He and Álvaro Vázquez have both played for Getafe CF.
