Power forward for the University of Washington. In 2020 he was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the NBA Draft.
He attended Federal Way High School in Washington.
His senior year of high school he was named Washington Gatorade Player of the Year.
His brother Jalen McDaniels and his cousin Juwan Howard have both played in the NBA. His parents, Will and Angela, are both from Chicago.
He and basketball player Matisse Thybulle have both played for the Washington Huskies.
