He grew up writing poetry before deciding to put his words to music.
His song "No One's Aware" was featured in the 2008 film The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.
His mother gave him his first guitar.
He co-wrote former "X Factor" contestant Janet Devlin's song ""Delicate."
