Jack Higgins
Novelist
A bestselling author, he is known for more than sixty thrillers, including the 1975 classic, The Eagle Has Landed. Born Harry Patterson, he published under several pseudonyms, including Jack Higgins, James Graham, and Martin Fallon.
He served in the army and later earned a degree in sociology from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
He authored the Paul Chavasse, Simon Vaughn, Liam Devlin and Nick Miller book series.
His daughter, Sarah Patterson, also became a writer.
He co-wrote wrote his third Chance Twins novel, Sharp Shot, with Justin Richards in 2009.
