Jack Carter
Entrepreneur
Son of former President Jimmy Carter who had more success in business than in politics.
He worked in Chicago for the city's Board of Trade and later for Citibank after graduating from law school at the University of Georgia.
He served in the Navy, but was discharged with several others when he was caught smoking marijuana.
He spent summers working on his father's peanut farm where he was paid the same as the other workers: 10 cents an hour. He had two children with wife Judy Langford Carter.
His stepdaughter was book illustrator and painter Sarah Reynolds. She collaborated with artist Jeff Koons.
