Colonel in the Slovak Air Force who is the first Slovak citizen to fly in space.
He trained as a research cosmonaut at the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center.
He went on a mission to the Mir Space Station in 1999.
He married and had three children.
He, like Helen Sharman, visited the Mir Space Station.
