Isaias Afwerki
World Leader
World leader who became the first President of the State of Eritrea in 1991 and was the leader of the Eritrean People's Liberation Front.
He graduated from Prince Makonnen High School in 1965.
He became President of the National Assembly in 1993.
He married Saba Haile and they have two sons and a daughter.
He was friends with Meles Zenawi during the war for independence.
