Avant-garde musician with the Norwegian metal band Peccatum who is also known by the name Starofash, which is the name of her solo project.
She trained in classical music and singing, getting involved in the metal genre later in her life.
She ran the record label Mnemosyne Productions, which produced Peccatum's albums with her husband in 2012.
She married the guitarist for the Norwegian band Emperor, Ihsahn.
Her group Peccatum played a gothic metal style, similar to that of Sami Yli Sirnio and Tiamat.
