Television star who is best recognized for his role as Kang Do Chang in the series The Good Detective. He is also known for appearing in First Love, My Rosy Life, and Empire of Gold.
In 1995 he made his television debut in the series Sandglass.
He won the Best Actor award at the Moscow International Film Festival for his work in the film Ordinary Person.
He married his wife Lee Jae-sook in 1997, and they have two children together.
He and Ji Chang-wook have both starred on the show The Sons of Sol Pharmacy House.
