Professional infielder that was drafted by the Kansas City Royals during the first round of the 2013 MLB Draft. Prior to being drafted, he attended Stephen F. Austin State University, where was named the Southland Conference Player of the Year in 2013.
He began his professional career playing for the Royals' rookie affiliate team the AZL Royals.
He made his major league debut pitching against the Chicago White Sox on September 12, 2016.
He is a native of Wichita Falls, Texas.
He played alongside Mike Minor during the 2021 MLB season.
