Hugh Duffy

Former MLB Outfielder and Manager who played from 1888 to 1906.
He began playing baseball part-time on weekends as he was working at a textile mill, but was then offered a contract by the Chicago White Stockings in 1888.
He won the National League Triple Crown in 1894.
He and his wife Nora lived in Massachusetts until her death in 1953.
He joined fellow Hall of Famer Cap Anson on the Chicago White Stockings in 1888.
