Homer Lea

American-born non-fiction author who became known for his role in early 20th-century political reform movements in China.
He attended high school in Colorado and California and studied briefly at both Occidental College and Stanford University before joining the Bao Huang Hui, a Chinese military and political group.
He was only five feet and three inches tall and suffered from several physical problems, including degenerative kidney disease, vision issues, and headaches.
He was born in Denver, Colorado to real estate broker, Alfred E. Lea and Hersa A. Coberly Lea. He was raised with his two sisters.
He served as an advisor to political revolutionary, Sun Yat-sen, during the Chinese Republican revolution of 1911.
