He was selected in the 3rd round of the 1976 NFL draft, and spent most of his career as Kansas City's primary receiving threat.
He was born in Broxton, Georgia.
He retired as Kansas City's all-time leader in receptions, a record that was later broken by Tony Gonzalez.
