Formerly Heidi Montag, she became a pop-culture phenomenon while starring on the MTV reality series The Hills from 2006 to 2010. She also appeared in the 2011 film Just Go with It.
She attended the Academy of Art University before transferring to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. She then dropped out of college and worked as an assistant and event planner at Bolthouse Productions.
She and Spencer were featured on Celebrity Wife Swap in 2014.
She grew up in Colorado. She married her The Hills co-star Spencer Pratt in 2009. They welcomed their first child together, Gunner Stone, in October of 2017.
She was cast on the series The Hills after meeting Lauren Conrad, who was already on the reality show Laguna Beach, at freshman orientation for the Academy of Art University.
