Writer and public speaker who shares her thoughts on God, adoption and being the mother of children with Down syndrome on her acclaimed blog, The Lucky Few. Her first book, The Lucky Few: Finding God's Best in the Most Unlikely Places, was published in March 2017.
She graduated from Rim of the World High School and Sonoma State University. She worked as an education specialist before becoming a full-time stay-at-home mom.
Her work has led to appearances on The Today Show, The Liturgists Podcast and The Shauna Niequist Podcast.
She married a man named Josh, with whom she has adopted children named Macyn, Truly and August.
She was featured on The Today Show, presented by Al Roker.
