Her mother rose to widespread acclaim for her role as Max Guevara on the Fox cyperpunk series Dark Angel. Her parents met while both were working on the 2004 film Fantastic Four.
In April 2016, she was profiled, alongside her mother, in an E! Online article on ethnic identity.
She has an older sister named Honor and a younger brother named Hayes.
Her mother appeared as a guest judge during a 2015 episode of RuPaul's Drag Race.
