Harry Gregg

Former goalkeeper for Manchester United and the Doncaster Rovers. He was a member of the Northern Ireland national team from 1954 to 1964 and became manager of teams such as Swansea City and Shrewsbury Town after retirement.
He began his professional career at age 20.
He survived the Munich air disaster, earning the nickname "The Hero of Munich" for saving some of his teammates.
He had six children over two marriages, first with Mavis Markham and then with Carolyn Maunders.
He rescued Bobby Charlton from a burning plane during the 1958 Munich air disaster.
