Political-theorist who preferred not to be called a philosopher. He focused on the nature of power, direct democracy, authority, and totalitarianism.
She attended the University of Marburg where she studied Philosophy.
Her first book was called The Origins of Totalitarianism from 1951, which connected Stalinist Communism and Nazism with anti-Semitism and imperialism.
She was married to Heinrich Blücher, who was a member of an anti-Stalin group.
She admired Thomas Jefferson and his council system.
