Dee Dee had Munchausen syndrome by proxy, and abused Gypsy for her entire childhood and young adulthood in order to create the illusion that Gypsy suffered from multiple chronic illnesses.
She killed her mother in June 2015. In July, she accepted a plea bargain and was sentenced to ten years in jail.
Her parents were Dee Dee and Rod Blanchard. She met her ex-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn via the internet. She announced her engagement to her fiancé Ken in April 2019.
