Guy Rewenig
Children's Author
A Luxembourgish novelist, dramatist, children's author, and essayist, he published the first Luxembourgish-language novel, Hannert dem Atlantik, in 1984. His other works include Roman Mass mat drai Haren and Sibiresch Eisebunn.
He was educated at the Athenee de Luxembourg. He taught primary school before becoming a full-time writer.
During the first decade of the Twenty-First Century, he was twice awarded the prestigious Prix Servais.
His family lived in Luxembourg City at the time of his birth. He later lived in Bettembourg, Esch-sur-Alzette, and Nospelt.
He was a contemporary of German author Botho Straus.
