Famous British jazz trumpet player and composer who was the musical director for many BBC Radio 2 shows.
He started playing trumpet when he was twelve and joined the National Youth Jazz Orchestra a year later.
He toured with the Guy Barker Jazz Orchestra.
He was raised by an actress and by a stuntman in Chiswick, London.
He has collaborated with a variety of musicians, including Frank Sinatra.
