Indian classical dancer, most remembered as an instructor of the Kathakali style.
While studying business in college, he fell in love with dance, and began studying under Guru Gopinath without informing his family.
In 1976, he was honored by his colleagues with an award from the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy.
He was married to Mohanavalli Amma until his death.
He and actress Samantha Prabhu are both originally from India.
