He had several children from previous relationships before meeting Nene in 1996.
He separated and divorced Nene in 2010 before reuniting and announcing their second engagement in 2013. They remarried the same year.
He married Nene for the first time in 1997. They had a son together named Brentt. He also had sons named Dexter, Daryl, Damian and Denton, and a daughter named Katrina from previous relationships.
His wife Nene appeared on The Real Housewives of Atlanta alongside Kandi Burruss.
