International Master chess player and teacher who has taught at the U.S. Chess School and posted educational videos at ChessVideos.tv. He also founded the U.S. Chess League and has served as its Commissioner.
He tied for first place at the National Junior High School Championship in 1993.
He has also played poker professionally.
His sister is Woman Grandmaster Jennifer Shahade.
He and Sam Loyd are both their chess players from Pennsylvania.
