Gideon Sundback
Engineer
Swedish electrical engineer best known for his work with the development of the zipper.
He studied engineering at the polytechnic school in Bingen am Rhein and took his engineer exam in 1903.
He was honored at the National Inventors Hall of Fame in 2006.
He married Elvira Aronson in 1909.
He had built upon the works of many engineers including Elias Howe.
