George Rodger
Photographer
British photographer who worked in Africa and was known for taking photos of the World War II death camps at Bergen-Belsen.
He joined the British Merchant Navy and taught himself photography while sailing around the world.
He was a founder of Magnum Photos in 1947 and had much of his work published in National Geographic.
His family came from Hale, Cheshire, England and was of Scottish descent.
Like him, Joshua Benoliel was a British photojournalist.
