Gana Bala

Famous as a Tamil (Kollywood) playback vocalist, Bala is most their for performing the songs "Nadukadalula Kappala" and "Aadi Pona Aavani" for the 2012 romantic comedy movie Attakathi.
After studying botany and law at Presidency College, Chennai, he won a reality talent competition called Gana Kuyil Pattu.
He almost single-handedly brought about the revival of the Tamil Gaana music genre.
Born Bala Murugan, he later adopted the stage name of Gana Bala.
He often performed the songs of GV Prakash Kumar and other prominent Indian film composers.
