Swedish singer best known as part of pop group ABBA. She sang on their most their tracks, including "Mamma Mia" and "Dancing Queen." Her marriage to Prince Heinrich Ruzzo Reuss earned her the title of Princess Reuss of Plauen.
She was raised by her grandmother after her mother died of kidney failure.
Her marriage to a German prince in 1992 resulted in her receiving the formal title Her Serene Highness Princess Anni-Frid Synni Reuss of Plauen.
She has married three times. Her third marriage, to Prince Heinrich Ruzzo Reuss of Plauen, began in 1992. She and Reuss remained married until his death in 1999. She and Fredriksson had a daughter named Ann and a son named Hans. She later began dating Henry Smith, 5th Viscount Hambleden in 2008.
Her idol is jazz vocalist Ella Fitzgerald.
