Frank Tyson

Nicknamed "Typhoon Tyson", one of the fastest bowlers ever seen in cricket, he bowled for England and Northamptonshire.
He was a university graduate of Hatfield College in the University of Durham, unusual for a cricketer in the 1950's.
He released more than 15 books about cricket, including 1982's The Cricketer Who Laughed and 1991's The Terms of the Game: Dictionary of Cricket.
He grew up playing cricket with his older brother David.
He and Monty Panesar both played county cricket for Northamptonshire.
