Known for his photo spreads in such publications as Rolling Stone, New York Magazine, and Vanity Fair, this celebrity and fashion photographer also directed several short films, music videos, and documentaries.
After attending film school at the University of California, Los Angeles, he took philosophy courses at the University of Milan. Shortly after beginning his career as a photographer (in 2006), he became one of the industry's stars.
His numerous celebrity photographs include images of actress Scarlett Johansson, model Claudia Schiffer, singer Marilyn Manson, and United Kingdom Prime Minister Tony Blair.
He grew up in Milan, Italy, as the child of Italian Vogue editor Franca Sozzani.
He directed a series of television commercials for the Tommy Hilfiger fashion line.
