He had an illustrious youth career for four clubs from 1980-1994.
After debuting for Fortuna Sittard, he left the team in 1997 and played for three sides before returning to Fortuna Sittard in 2010.
He got married early in his career, but divorced his wife before his playing days were over.
While playing for Rangers, he played with star Barry Ferguson.
