Canadian writer, activist and media personality who became best known as the founder and former publisher of the Western Standard. He has also worked as a columnist for Sun Media and as a host on the Sun News Network.
He earned a commerce degree from the University of Calgary and a law degree from the University of Alberta.
He founded The Rebel Media website in February 2015.
He was married to Golda van Messel from 1999-2005.
In 2010, he wrote a column accusing entrepreneur George Soros of funding an organization that lobbied against Sun Media.
