She starred in several films directed by Yusuf Haslam, the first of which premiered in 1994.
She married Yusry bin Abdul Halim. Following their divorce, she became romantically involved with Engku Emran Engku Zainal Abidin.
Both she and British film actress, Dulcie Gray, were born in Malaysia.
