Turkish television actor known for his recurring roles in shows like Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman ki, Sessiz firtina, and Beyaz Gelincik. He is also recognizable for his roles in the films The Wings of the Night and Yeni Dünya.
He began his acting career in 1998 earning small roles in shows like Guzel Gunler and Aynali tahir.
In 2005, he was nominated for Best Actor in an Adventure film at the 1st Annual Primetime Beyaz Inci Awards.
The son of Şerife and Akın Petekkaya, he has a sister named Ayşe. He married Didem Petekkaya in 2003 and the pair gave birth to a son named Cem Cano.
He appeared alongside Burak Tozkoparan in the Turkish series Paramparça.
