Pop Singer
Japanese pop singer and actress who rose to fame as a member of the Hello! Project, a group of young female singers who are trained to be pop artists, where she was a member of the girl group Ongaku Gatas.
In 2006 she was one of six to be accepted into Hello! Project's Hello! Pro Egg, which meant years of performance and training. She graduated from Hello! Project in 2013.
She plays the role of Sae Asami on the sci-fi drama All Esper Dayo! which chronicles the lives of high school students with super powers.
She was born in Zama, Kanagawa, Japan.
She also hosted a segment on the J-Pop show Yorosen! which is features different Hello! Project members, like rocker Reina Tanaka, playing teachers, while different girl groups act as students.
